We were really impressed with the breakfast at this hotel. Overall the rooms were nice. Unfortunately it was crowded with college students due to a competition happening at the Michigan Tech campus so the pool was basically unusable, but that is not the hotel's fault.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The entire place was very clean. We would definitely stay here again. Nice selection of breakfast foods also. After checking in, we were informed of many activities and things to do in the area.

The breakfast was just right. Lots of options without going too overboard. The woman working on Sunday, August 21st in the breakfast area was fantastic. She had things kept hot and stocked before you realized they were going empty.

Great location in town, within walking distance to everything and university. the rooms at +500 level are the best! we’ve stayed multiple times since on lower level and they’re still the motel rooms. the upper level rooms is more like a hotel, large and airy, comfortable and great view of the bridge! staff very nice and bed comfortable. one of the few locations that allow dogs.

Decent room and nice view of downtown. Staff gave us great recommendations for dinner both nights. Good breakfast 🥞 in the morning.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. They we able to accommodate our 2 dogs as well. The breakfast food was average for hotels of this type. What sets this place apart, is the lovely woman who sets up the food, refills your coffee and juice, and generally makes you feel special! Whatever the hotel is paying her, it probably isn’t enough. She is a gem. I would definitely stay here again. The desk clerk that checked us in was very nice as well.

We were upgraded to a bigger room in a quieter wing of the hotel. The coffee, tea and cookies available in the lobby were welcome on a chilly day.

The lady on the weekend breakfast was exceptional running around making sure everybody has anything she has to offer and she was serving at the table true kind lady!! Thank you ☺️
